Things are not looking up in the US real estate market yet. That rabbit keeps going deeper into the hole and it’s not turning around for quite some time. Consider how these homeowners who CAN afford their mortgages are walking away from them, plus the growing Canadian dollar. My money is much safer here in the Great White North, eh!

Stephen Wiltshire got one helicopter ride over Rome and was able to draw it in extreme detail from memory. Stephen is an autistic savant and his abilities remind us what our minds are capable of doing when they are unleased. He is called “The Living Camera.”

I would like to say a few words about Carla’s book “Magnetic Real Estate Photography.” Her book has helped me because I am a REALTOR® with ReMax Sold Gold Ltd. II Brokerage in Waterloo and most of the time I take my own pictures of my listings.
I read Carla’s book and found out that it is important for pictures to be level and have balance and symmetry. So, the next time I went out to my next listing I made sure that the pictures I took adhered to Carla’s principles mentioned above. After these photos were posted, family member of the Seller told the Seller that the REALTOR® who took the pictures did a great job and that person was an expert photographer. Needless to say, the listing sold quickly and for close to list price.
Thanks Carla for all the tips and examples in your book. It is an extremely great resource for REALTORS® and a great tool for marketing properties that I highly recommend buying!

Last weekend I spent the weekend at the annual REIN ACRE workshop in Toronto. We learned everything you need to know to get started in real estate investing. It was an extremely full and inspiring event and everyone left with a different view of themselves and the world. Thank you Don Campbell and the entire REIN Team for a spectacular event!!

Yesterday, KWREB (Kitchener Waterloo Real Estate Board) held its first Trade Show. What a great day. Kudos to the organizers and a big “Thank you” to everyone who stopped by my table. I enjoyed making a lot of new connections.
